Warcraft 3 Tutorial

This is a mode for AMX ModX! If you have not already installed the AMX ModX, than you have to install it first. ( see the AMX ModX Installation page ).

After you have corectlly installed AMX ModX, download here Warcraft3.rar. Unzipp it anywhere on disk. Open it and you will have tree folders: addons, souns and sprites. First open the addons\amxmodx folder, and you will have there several subfolders. Copy the content (not the entire folder) of every subfolder in the folder with the same name from HLDS\cstrike\addons\amxmodx (where HLDS is the directory you have your server in). That means that all the files from configs go to configs, from plugins to plugins, from scriptings go to scriptings an so on. Now edit the plugin: go to HLDS\cstrike|addons\amxmodx\configs\plugins.ini where you write under the other lines: war3ft.amxx (if it is already there, it should not be edited).

The next step is to go to HLDS\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs\modules.ini where you erase "the dot and coma" in front of the lines: engine,fakemeta, nvault. It should look like this:

Next step : copy the wc3.css, METAMOD 1, AMX MOD X 1.76d files into HLDS\cstrike.
Then go back to the sound and sprites folders. Open sound, you have there a folder war3ft, copy it entirely in the HLDS\cstrike\sound. Now open sprites. You find there a warft3 folder, that you copy entirely in the HLDS\cstrike\sprites. In order to activate the xp save you should go to HLDS\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\configs\war3ft, where you open war3FT using the WordPad and find the line "wc3_save_xp" and change the 0 with 1, and the line "wc3_save_by" set it on name, ip or steamid (default is steam id ).

To see if it was well installed turn on the server and click amx_plugins, and you will see war3.ft.amxx running.
